Accountable for the planning & delivery of digital programs for Alpiq’s Digital & Commerce (D&C) division and leading departments organized around technology & business

Business partner for the global operations, sales and marketing division at Panalpina, a top-five provider of supply chain solutions with approximately CHF 6 billion revenues and a global network of 500 offices in around 70 countries and 14,500 employees. Direct report to CIO; member of Innovation Board.Accountable for the objective setting, strategy definition and execution of the global customer & operations application portfolio of developed and purchased software. The function covers all steps from business demand & IT supply management, innovation, product development, implementation, evolution to their end of life including all related vendor management.

The purpose of the role is to lead and manage the customer system portfolio consisting of own developed and purchased software delivered to internal and external customers. The role is responsible for the applications lifecycle management, interacts with the other IT functions (in particular the Regional Business Solutions teams), internal divisions (operations, marketing, sales), gathers market/industry/competitor intelligence with the objective to meet the IT demands in regards to visibility, connectivity and value adding services of the company’s global customer portfolio – ranging from small medium enterprises to fortune 500 multi-national companies.

Responsible for the company's global supply chain business consulting function within the information technology area. The function is responsible for the delivering IT solutions and products that enable complex supply chain services and end-to-end IT integrations with the company's global accounts.

Overall responsible for the requirement definition, software evaluation, decision process and installation of a new, global supply chain solution software.
