Developing a certificate program on sustainability education for students at the University of Freiburg.

Managing the sustainability process at the public administration (Landkreis) in a small team within a large organization (>1.000 employees)- coordinating inter-departmental sustainability processes regarding administrative procedures, the development of organizational goals, indicators, reporting mechanisms- organizing public events on climate change with a focus on self and group empowerment- re-organizing procurement guidelines and implementing practices

In cooperation with the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation, our team developed a 3 days seminar on the island of Vilm, Germany, on the topic of "Human Identity And Nature Awareness". The goal was to facilitate exchange between actors from politics, public administration, NGOs, civil society, research and education. Results of the seminar are materialized into a publication "Identity and Nature Awareness", early 2018, and is supposed to feed into the studies and policies of the federal agency. The Urban Idea is a couple of creative studios aiming to improve cities through the promotion of EcoMobility. To inspire people's imagination, the studio organizes the World EcoMobility Festival. One neighborhood - one month - no cars.Activities:- MS Access data management- representing the Urban Idea at fairs- research on urban mobility

Agentur für clever Staedte is a start-up NGO in the field on sustainable urban mobility, promoting green and low-tech forms of mobility as a means for public health, fast transport and strong communities.Activities:- organization of Germany's first bike entrepreneurship convention- political campaigning against illegal car parking on bike lanes

Interning with the department in charge of coordinating the state sustainability strategy.- organization of the state sustainability week- assisting inter-ministerial meetings on sustainability reporting- assisting the Bund-Länder Austausch (federal-state-exchange) on sustainable development strategies

Together with Dr. Stephan Grohs, I designed and organized a 6 credits seminar on "Sustainable Urban Development" at Uni Konstanz. Seminar partner institutions: ICLEI, the city of Ludwigsburg, the city of Konstanz, the Institute for Landscape Planning and Ecology at the University of Stuttgart.

Sika AG is a globally active specialty chemical company headquartered in Baar, Switzerland manufacturing and supplying products for industry and construction. During my time at Sika Germany I was involved in life cycle cost anaylsis of flooring products, conducting a study on tunnel restoration and evaluating Sika products against sustainability criteria by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen (DGNB)
