Global transaction Services Corporate Action Processor FR and BE • Processing and monitoring all Corporate Actions events both mandatory (Redemptions, mergers, Return of Capital, Bonus Issues) and Voluntary (Right Issues, Cash stock dividends, Tender Offers; Bonus Right Issues). Daily processing of events. • Responsible for the collection, cleansing and distribution of all CA events to internal and external parties using agents and various feeds.• Daily reconciliations of clients’ positions and investigations of any discrepancies. Escalate where necessary.• Responsible for producing daily reports (deadlines report, cash and stock breaks, events diary, critical dates report etc)• Actively monitoring events deadlines and collate clients’ instructions. Chasing of late instructions prior to deadlines.• Instructing Agents / Counterparts on election issues within event deadlines.• Liaising efficiently with other Departments: CAICSU (client services), Stock Lending, Settlements, Income, Tax, other Middle Office teams, front office and Counterparties.• Reviewing and responding to all enquiries within 24 hours of receipt. • Reviewing and reconciliation of cash and stock exceptions within 24 hours of receipt. Global Corporate Action Platform (GCA)The Markets: France, Belgium, Morocco, Tunisia and Switzerland • Responsible for manual validation, cleansing and enrichment based on events in their work queue.• Scrubbing securities database using Excel into Bloomberg capabilities (BBXL).• Ensuring that the state of each composite record for each event becomes both clean and complete and ready for approval;• Adding data to incomplete records using all available sources (e.g. data vendors, web sites, investor relations departments, stock exchange notices)• Making calls/inquiries to paying agents, depositories, companies to acquire/confirm data.• Gathering and review Custodian data, using automated and manual means.• Researching all record cancellations;• Searching though a number of manual sources (Stock Exchange Notices, Bloomberg, EDI, Dace, Euclid/Euroclear Direct, DTC, financial web sites, offering circulars and prospectus) to create events’ prepare audit trail of actions taken and file supporting documentation• Researching requests and providing product/preferential data support• Implementation of new system “Waves”

- Dividends and Corporate Actions Team Member- Data License - Customer Help Desk Global Data Department with the responsibility to research and collect data to feed the terminal and relevant Databases. I held various roles in the department, the main one being in the corporate actions team:The Markets: France, UK, South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, Belgium, and Netherlands • Collection and validation of corporate actions records (Dividends, listings, de-listings, rights issues, spin-off, stock-splits, etc) • Creation of securities and tickers on the system• Identifiers for securities (ISIN, Sedol, Sivocam etc) • Maintaining and updating the database and records of securities identifiers. • Customer helpdesk/ADSK’s tickets: dealings with customers’ requests and inquiries through a direct email system and calls. Questions on dividends, corporate actions, identifiers.
