Manage the team in charge of A330-A340 Continous Airworthiness for French ATAs

Manage the certification activities related to aircraft control for all the A320 family models, including new A321neo-XLR model: define certification basis and applicable regulation requirements in line with Airworthiness Authorities (EASA, FAA, CAAC, ...), define the means of compliance (flight or simulator tests, analysis, engineering judgement), negotiate open points with Airworthiness Authorities, endorse the compliance statements.

Responsible for leading a team of aircraft-control specialists and experts on new functions on A350: steered operational and safety analysis, made functional definition and systems modifications, managed planning and budget

Led a multi-skills team of 15 persons (Human Factor, Operations, Navigation, Surveillance, and Guidance & Control) defining the operational concept and the systems for taxi, take-off, and landing phases on a future aircraft.Worked with the Scale Agile Framework (SAFe) method in a self-organised context. Managed a European R&T work package program on cockpits controls, with subcontractors and suppliers.

Led a multi-skills team of 6 persons defining innovative solutions to simplify and ease aircraft control on ground phases.

Managed the certification and qualification activities related to aircraft control for all A400M’s civil & military missions: defined applicable means of compliance, coordinated the simulator and flight test activities, negotiated open points with Airworthiness Authorities, endorsed the compliance statements.

Led the development and certification of A330-MRTT Handling Qualities for Air-to-Air Refuelling operations: opened and defined the flight domain, sized the flight control systems, assessed the severity of failure cases, prepared and followed the flight and simulator tests.

Managed the development and identification of A318, A330/A340 and A400M flight dynamics models. Coordinated the department’s activities on the A320 series.

Designed the monitoring algorithm of the Attitude and Orbit Control function of the “Automated Transfer Vehicle” spacecraft.

Analyzed the Pilot-Induced-Oscillation on fighter aircrafts in the frame of the European GARTEUR committee.
