My tasks cover the development and implementation of the project management framework process, including project management methodologies, demand management, research contract management, resource management, and project delivery. Additionally, I create the short- and long-term roadmap for the Project Office, including how it relates to other organizations and governance forums within Von Karman, and supervise the management of all projects that flow through the Project Office. Key accomplishments include:• Rightsizing the R&D department to meet updated business objectives and maintain annual research project turnover of circa €10M.• Growing the department headcount from 35 to 55 engineers in under four years.• Serving as a key member of the Strategic Research Council, initiating yearly research roadmapping exercises to guarantee alignment with current research trends and best practices.

During this three-year period, I spearheaded the launch of the new PMO in Leuven, with oversight for strategic roadmapping, lobbying for funding, compliance, and recruitment. I then provided leadership and centralized management for the planning, development, and execution of technical projects to achieve critical strategic business objectives. Key accomplishments included:• Securing successful delivery of €10M annual project portfolio in strong collaboration with the TAS-B site of Charleroi• Building-out the original team, hiring 15+ new engineers over three years.• Supporting the local site implementation of HSE and security policies/protocols and securing the annual EN9100 certification through external audit coordination, with no major red flags identified.• Cultivating and nurturing strong relationships with Flanders business networks to further develop the company's core business activities.

Design of new toolbox for Matlab software of The Mathworks company. This toolbox allows simulation of power electronics for electrical motor control applications. It is currently on the market within the SimPowerSystems toolbox. My job consisted in design, validation, documentation and maintenance of the software within a team of power electronics and Matlab software experts.
