Since 1952, La Librairie Générale has participated with passion in the cultural life of Guadeloupe. Founded by Hubert Jasor and his wife Méranie, with the aim that "all children have books", the bookstore has become over the years a veritable institution of Guadeloupean heritage, a place of encounters and creation, where people from all walks of life meet. Analysis and review of IFRS and USGAAP statutory financial statements ( 550 M$ Revenue per year ).Detailed and in-depth reporting of balance sheet balances, account reconciliation, monitoring compliance with accounting, tax, and internal rules. Oversight of long-term project accounting (revenue recognition, milestone billing tracking, TEC, DAV, DAR, PAT). Reclassification under USGAAP SOP81-1 & SAB104.Quarterly closing management. Financial analysis: Managing the €45M per quarter factoring process, monitoring cash and cash pool, coordinating internal and external audits (lawyers, tax consultants, KPMG, etc.). Cross-functional accounting activities: Implementation of FEC, support to the tax department (control), currency exchange variance revaluation, establishment of stock forecasts, support for general and tax accounting.Software: SAP, HFM (Smartview). Accounting under French standards (PCG) and USGAAP.

Analysis and review of statutory and USGAAP financial statements. Detailed and in-depth reporting of balance sheet accounts, account reconciliations, monitoring compliance with accounting, tax, and internal rules. Management of monthly and quarterly closures in US and French GAAP, timely production of US reports (D+3). Ensuring reliability and compliance of accounts with French and US standards. Conducts necessary controls and reconciliations to ensure completeness, consistency, and accuracy of the accounting result, balance sheet, and off-balance sheet of factoring entities (in accordance with accounting standards). Preparation of statutory balance sheets, management reports, and tax returns for factoring companies, partnerships, and holdings. Monthly determination of statutory tax in French and US GAAP. Documentation of the conversion from statutory accounting to US GAAP (Stat to US GAAP). Liaison with lawyers, auditors, top management, ACPR, etc. Software: SAGE. Accounting in French (PCG) and USGAAP standards.

Elaboration, planning, and quarterly budget reviews, cash impact analysis per project, monitoring quarterly sales plans, variable cost center analysis, financial coordination between BNP ITP and BP²I (BNP-IBM Joint Venture). Financial Management: Tracking and controlling the business volume of contracts with the supplier BP²I (volume: €400M/year), weekly monitoring with operational managers, project cash impact, alignment of purchase orders and revenue recognition per project, preparation of budgetary work and the 2014-2019 business plan for BP²I. Contractual Management: Monitoring and validation of contracts and amendments between BP²I and BNPP, followed by validation of contracts between BNPP and its subsidiaries. Close collaboration with IT department project managers and the Legal Department in contract drafting and validation. Process and Internal Control: Design and publication of KPIs for contractual and billing activities for the Quality/Internal Control department, work on the evolution of organizational processes (mapping, contract signature workflow). Reconciliation of sales plans, closing activities, commented analysis of variances, support for operational teams. Software: SAP.
