As the CTIO for Central America, I led the realization of the Network Technology and IT strategy across 5 markets: El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Projects covered strategic topics from preparation and participation to a Mobile Spectrum auction for 4G, Tower sales and lease-back, Tier III Datacenter design and construction, Fixed Network multi-year capacity and quality plan.I was also responsible for the Technology Post-Merger Integration following the acquisition of Cable Onda Fixed and B2B Operation in Panama and Telefonica Mobile Operations in Panama and Nicaragua,. I led the execution of the Network and IT carve-out plan and synergy realization. In this project, I proposed and implemented a Technology Shared Services Center for Central America (110 people) that successfully increased operational efficiencies and secured technical expertise for the region.

As the Director for Home Technology, I led the Technology Strategy for HFC and FTTH for Tigo in Latin America to support fast growing network traffic in the region.Significant projets I delivered included the selection, extensive testing, integration and rollout of a standardized DOCSIS 3.0 + Wifi 5 CPE across all markets, and the definition of a standard HFC network design with DAA and its implementation in multi-year plans per market, resulting in increased network capacity and customer experience quality in all our markets.

As founder of yula.la, I developed, launched and grew the first online classifieds platform in Laos. Yula.la became the #1 recognized brand in Laos as the marketplace to Buy and Sell anything. In 2017, I successfully sold a majority stake to Digital Classifieds Group who brought funding and expertise to continue the development of the business.

I joined Wing as Technology Director to revamp the the technology plan required by the company strategy to move its mobile money business from a traditional "over the counter" to a digital wallet model.I implemented a new development model to launch the first version of the Mobile Application which was delayed, providing bi-monthly version releases and an agile methodology to address business needs: P2P payments, Bill Payments, Mobile Reloads. I successfully launched the first QR Code Merchant and P2P payments solution in the South East Asia region (WingPay).

As major deliverables, I implemented Managed Services with Ericsson (90 employees), turning around network quality and KPIs. Strategic plan to push 3G coverage with a refarming strategy, leading to 40% increase of data traffic and best 3G internet service award in Dakar measured by ARTP (March 2017). I delivered the first Uptime Tier III Data Centre facility within UEMOA (West African Economic and Monetary Union).

Set up the group Global Process Center of Excellence across the Millicom (13 countries).Special project: led the technology team to play the submission of the telecom license application for Myanmar for Millicom (complete technical plan for a 7,000+ sites network).

Deployment and operation of the fixed and mobile network. Planned and launched 3G, secured the license for LTE with the government, ran initial trials and core network evolution (EPC).

Built the organization to support the Greenfield expansion of the network nationwide (10x growth), including massive recruitment and training, process and tools implementation, delivering a reduction of network downtime by 60% the first year. Completed a full core network migration with zero downtime into a new Datacenter. Led the spectrum coordination task force with Thailand and Vietnam, advising the Lao regulator.
