About Christophe Gle
In 2007 i have started to work within GE Power Conversion (Former Converteam) in the engineering department through different business segment in project phase. I was providing technical support to the sales department and the fulfillment of the projects from a system integration point of view. I ensure the technical optimization and validity of the proposed solutions. I write technical specifications for HV / LV electrotechnical equipment for integration into the global system with compliance to the contractual regulations (IEEE, IEC, Maritime classification societies). I check internal and external suppliers' product compliance with the technical specifications up to the factory acceptance test before delivery to customer. I join the Merchant Marine Department in 2011 as Application Engineer. Working as part of a proposals team, i’m responsible for the end-to-end completion of high quality proposals, quotations, bids and tender responses, which are both technically and commercially compliant with the client’s specifications.
