In my role, I coordinated the installation and improvement of Ascend's pilot plant for high-grade electric vehicle battery materials. I led capital acquisition efforts, ensuring necessary resources for plant enhancement. On the engineering side, I oversaw equipment installation, troubleshooting, and drafted operational and safety procedures as well as new process drawings.• Over $534,000 in new capital expenditure• Wrote 6 P&ID and LOTO documents for new plant processes

Worked in Vanderbilt's Multiscale Molecular Simulation Lab (MuMS) under the direction of faculty and PhD students to further research on electric double layer capacitors. Contributed to 50+ molecular simulations on ionic solutions, coding experiments to improve the design and energy density of capacitors. Validated three ion design trends, significantly enhancing conductivity, and presented findings in a final report to Vanderbilt University faculty.
