Over 30 years of experience in the Defense industry, Strategic leader and a subject matter expert in program management for chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) science and technology. As Deputy Director of the Joint Science and Technology Office (JSTO) at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), I lead and manage a large and diverse portfolio of research and development programs that deliver innovative and effective solutions to counter and deter weapons of mass destruction and improvised threats.In my current role, I facilitate collaboration and coordination among multiple stakeholders and agencies, such as the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Defense, the Joint Staff, the Services, Combatant Commands, and the National Laboratories. Additionally, I leverage my experience in HAZMAT, CBRNE, and emergency management to provide guidance and expertise to senior leaders and decision-makers on the most critical and complex challenges and opportunities in the field. My mission is to ensure that DTRA delivers innovative and effective solutions that protect our nation and allies from current and emerging threats.
