While managing the Architecture Department my responsibilities included project design & oversight, scheduling, marketing & project acquisition, professional evaluation & development, and both department and company growth. At E.H. Fortner Woodworking I helped to establish computer aided drafting techniques for the business’s custom designed furniture and cabinetry process. Through the use of a variety of CAD programs including Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD we were able to create both two and three dimensional drawings for the various projects. As a Staff Sergeant It was my job to provide direct supervision and insure proper training and preparation of the soldiers in my section, conduct land surveys, make maps and prepare detailed plans and drawings for construction projects.
