After nearly 22 years with the US Army, it is almost time to step away and look for opportunities in the private sector. I have an MS in Applied and Computational Mathematics and am excited to put that education and my significant leadership experience to work. I’ve been able to travel all around the world and work with numerous intergovernmental and international partners and learn how to manage effectively in extremely dynamic environments. I bring decades of leadership experience along with me, along with an understanding of real-world and high-stress operations that cannot be replicated easily. I understand risk from a ground-up perspective, and enjoy using data to tell a story, especially when it helps build efficiency in internal processes. I am looking forward to the opportunity to bring my knowledge and experience to corporate America over the next several months as I shift from my current role into the civilian sector. I am looking for opportunities in operations research, analytics management, operations management, risk management, or finance, but I am open to any sector that provides an engaging opportunity to build my skills.
