Cyber Security Engineer
Current- Safeguards critical and training environments via the pillars of information security: CIANA (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability, Non-repudiation & Authentication). Establishes, generates and maintains necessary.
- Engineers Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages and artifacts compliance utilizing applicable Cyber Security, certification, and accreditation guidance in accordance with DOD, DON, SECNAV and OPNAV directives and.
- Accountable for running quarterly Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) scans, remediations, monthly Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) checks, Vulnerability Remediation Asset Manager (VRAM).
- Ensures that IA/CE attributes are achieved through the cost-effective, risk-balanced application of controls in a manner that promotes the development and operation life cycle of assigned systems for the accreditation.
- Identify, report, and resolve security violations while verifying that all information systems are functional and secure. Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support system requirements.
