- Responsible for the management and coordination of all BIM processes throughout the projects department at Oxford Brookes. - BIM & digital information champion for the department, and trainer of BIM software such as Revit, Solibri, AutoCAD and common data environment.- Responsible for drafting, maintaining and ensuring the Oxford Brookes EIR’s and AIR’s are responded to, and delivered across all campus projects.- Acting as client side Information Manager for all projects, attending regular meetings with design consultants and principle contractors.- Carrying out supply chain suitability assessments for the department in response to BIM execution plans, as per the project need.- Updating and managing the asset delivery plan across all BIM level 2 projects, liaising regularly with senior estate and project managers. - Providing detailed stakeholder engagement and planning. Establishment of standards and agile working processes. Data integration with CAFM software, reporting and analysis.- Principle administrator of the Oxford Brookes common data environment (CDE). Monitoring of information procurement, assurance, functionality and output. - Managing / maintaining the university estates information database and AutoCAD (drawings) for the whole estate using Archibus CAFM software.- Analysing evidence from the estate information database and building relationships with key stakeholders throughout the university to identify opportunities to meet the university’s strategic objectives amid changing space and accommodation requirements by improved utilisation of existing space and facilities. - Providing an expert space planning service to faculties and directorates and estates, including advice on types of furniture, fittings and fixtures and their configuration, storage solutions and other opportunities to satisfy the estate strategy.

My initial priorities related to space planning, departmental mapping and room utilisation across the University estate. This is achieved through the use of bespoke facilities management software, AutoCAD and Revit.Ongoing preparation for the implementation of Building Information Modelling, including BIM execution plan, BIM protocol & employer's information requirements.Monitoring, managing & issuing work requests logged on our Facilities service desk through the use of pre-defined service level agreements stored in our CAFM system.Estate & Maintenance team support for Archibus FM mobile working.Developed processes and procedures which has seen the Facilities department move to a mobile working environment, implementing the necessary software which allows teams to efficiently and effectively receive work requests and information, wherever they are based on University sites. Preparation of the annual Estates Management Statistics return, and other documentation relating to estates data.Preparation of Planned Maintenance schedules and service contracts, ensuring the Facilities Management Software System is utilised to plan PPM schedules and is regularly updated after maintenance.Establishing and monitoring / updating protocol for storage of drawings procedures, undertaken within AutoCAD plans. This involves confirming layers & configuration required, ensuring all plans are polylined to the standards expected.Carrying out Building audits in collaboration for and with the Projects team to safeguard the accuracy of building data for on-going refurbishment / new build works. Ensure all contractors working at the University provide evidence of competency and comply with the department’s health and safety requirements providing summary evidence relating to this for the annual Eco Campus Audit.

Based in Worcester, but traveling extensively throughout the West Midlands; I was responsible for checking work quality and operational standards, organisation of work allocation and rotas and dealing with customers/clients on a regular basis. My degree enabled me to provide technical expertise for clients and ensure the highest standards of work within the company.Monitoring work processes was a key element in my role, as was measuring operational performance and reporting to the Directors through regular meetings.

Working independently, responsible for the upkeep and grounds maintenance of two large, private properties. Daily duties involved grass cutting using ride-on and self-drive mowers, strimming, hedge trimming, pruning, lopping and chainsaw work in a large woodland and other garden related tasks.
