Engineering Supervisor
Current• Major program: 2023 ROUSH CleanTech 7.3L base engine refresh, LPG fuel system and controls upgrades• Develop calibration program timing, DVP&R, resource allocation and engineer support plans through all program gates; ensure lessons learned integrated into future program planning. • Lead system focused critique of hardware development testing, push 7D problem solving and apply system expertise to capture major issue with proposed hardware resulting in hardware direction change for the program• Major program: 2020-2022 ROUSH CleanTech 7.3L LPG Ford commercial fleet and school bus conversion and gasoline engine school bus integration; including optional ultra low NOx emissions certification to 0.05 and 0.02 NOx g/hp-hr on LPG and 100 gallon gasoline fuel tank ORVR emissions certification• Lead calibration team through PESO, FESO, MSO gates, ensure calibration engineering teams sign off data integrity and completeness against program DVP&R, enabling management review and program sign off.• Develop new process for team to generate controls requirement documents, system FMEA, calibration guides and validation plans for the Roush LPG fuel system and Blue Bird school bus integration unique features. • Plan and lead multiple hot, altitude, and cold validation trips with up to seven DOT vehicles at once; familiar with DOT trip permit and driver requirements. • Lead weekly calibration and controls team meetings covering team issue tracking, planning and logistics• Effectively contribute and communicate in weekly management, cross functional engineering, and customer status meetings; report out on project status, highlighting upcoming challenges and developing resolution proposals. • Lead one on one bi-weekly meetings with direct reports (entry level and senior engineers), creating quarterly goals to support their professional growth and career development
