Analyse and negotiate demurrage costs from all contractual or charter party arrangements entered into by oil or freight traders and finalise settlement of costs and recoveries, working towards minimising costs and keeping profit leakage from the business to an absolute minimum.Update costs and recoveries in DEX and Radar systems and advise oil and freight traders and the Global Trading Network focal points of the costs and potential recovery of demurrage and other voyage related expenses.Analyse and negotiate any charter party deviation and detention costs and recover from suppliers or receivers where possible.Advise on and interpret Charter Party clauses and their effects in terms of legal liabilities and demurrage exposure and notify Trading Managers/Traders/Contracts Unit when demurrage and lay time clauses in COA's, FSA's or charter parties are ambiguous or lead to profit leakage.
