Clinical Informatics Educator
Current Coordinate and delivered end-user training to develop and maintain staff competence in the use of EPIC software with a focus on Ambulatory, Beacon, and Dragon Voice Recognition software. Conduct instructor-led trainings in classroom settings as well as custom tailored on-site training. Train, mentor, and coach at least 32 students at a time at least 3 times per week for a total of 3 weeks out of a month. Function as Education Lead for clinic implementations; achieved 5 successful implementations of the Epic software systems at newly acquired ambulatory clinics. Develop eLearning curriculum, story board, video and audio recordings for presentations. Successfully developed and executed 6 eLearning’s that replaced a four-hour class which reduced time lost as well as overall cost. Review, edit, and approve all organizational communication for Ambulatory clinics. Collaborate with Ambulatory, Beacon, and Dragon analyst teams to provide troubleshooting and problem resolution. Identify, review, and develop supplemental education resources for Epic software upgrades.
