I was TUPE'd from Allvotec in June 2022 and prior to this I was TUPE'd from Unisys to Allvotec in November 2020. I was with Unisys from May 2011 and still wok on the Unisys contract.I work on behalf of clients including Dell, EMC, BTGS, FORTINET, CHECKPOINT, RIVERBED, NetApp, 3Par, BT and Cisco.I am responsible for the following:- Resolve server, network and firewall issues as well as project work- Working on server, storage devices, routers, switches, firewalls and UPSEMC system Symmetric (DMX & Vmax), Clariion (AX, CX3 & CX4) and VNX & VNXe. Tasks include installations/ De-installation, Diagnosis and fault finding, software & hardware upgrades as well as break fix and repairs. Also Isilon and Data Domain post and pre EMC.- Dell break/fix and next business day repairs and diagnosis on desktop/ servers for businesses.

This role is a dual position involving being the Primary Technical contact for Dell onsite at Ernst & Young and Break/fix and Next Business Day repairs and diagnostics for business and home users based in London and surrounding area. Ernst & Young:• Support Dell hardware with a population of 8000 users at the Morelondon site with the insight into going over to the other location of Becket House in Waterloo• Population of 3500 users the service management software used is remedy which involves both administration and support work both at head office and branches throughout the UK• Primary technical contact within the team, offering advice and guidance on large projects and to team colleagues• Successfully made recommendations for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness by introducing new tools, working methods and also transferring of working procedures to other teams• Responsible for looking after 2000 pc workstations, 1500 static printers, 3000 portable printers the majority of population being laptops• Carrying out installations, configure document and manage various hardware and software components.• Provide mainly 3rd line support but also 2nd line when required and site visits• Participate in major upgrade projects and trials of new equipment and methods• Discuss current service provision with customers and where appropriate identify service improvement opportunities for senior management considerationDell DCSE ESF1 & ESF2 Certified Systems Engineer:• Building and configuring workstations/ laptops/ servers• Use structured helpdesk techniques for problem solving and diagnosis strongly coupled with a practical, common sense approach• Strong understanding of call centre processes and customer call logging with respect to faults and issue resolution.
