During my off periods, I work as a part-time donation attendant at the Northshore Food Bank's Resale Shop, a non-profit store which funded the purchasing of food that was given to members of Covington's community who were in need. I would facilitate taking in donations with discretion; processing the donations we did take in so that quality clothing.

During my off-time, I would work as a deckhand for commercial fishing captains, where I was to pick undesirable fish from catches of shellfish, maintain and operate equipment, and pile debris for spatting oysters during the appropriate seasons. I still occasionally work as a deckhand when I have enough off-time.
