Designed, developed and managed production of Wilshire Associates Incorporated(WAI)'s global equity index product CSV data files in order to replace a feed from Dow Jones as the two companies parted ways on a joint venture. This entailed laying out the specifications for raw source data purchased from data vendor IDC, designing the architecture of code, scripts & tables and instructing IT on the FTP server directory structure requirements for delivery of content to clients.. Designed and developed much of the project. Developed a web application for the presentation of pension fund investment data that involved parsing Excel spreadsheets, calculating & storing the cell data into database tables, extracting it into XML files and producing PDF documents on-the-fly or manually using open source Java tools POI & FOP and the SVG specification.Created an application of Java and UNIX shell scripts to process I/B/E/S QFS equity estimates data for client use in WAI's Atlas equity analytics platform.Developed and deployed additional business logic for the calculation of financial statistics based upon I/B/E/S and in-house data.Employed XML to control several features of the I/B/E/S application runtime execution.
