As a seasoned Exploration geologist I bring over 16 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, focusing on both conventional and unconventional prospecting in Oklahoma and Kansas. My role has centered on identifying, evaluating, and driving high-value geologic prospects from initial mapping to successful drilling of wells with industry partners. I leverage both technical expertise and project management skills to streamline the exploration process.Key Areas of Expertise: • Conventional & Unconventional Prospecting: Skilled in generating and evaluating prospects across multiple basins, with specialized knowledge of both conventional and unconventional reservoirs in Oklahoma and Kansas. I apply a blend of structural, stratigraphic, and sedimentological analysis to develop comprehensive regional geological models that maximize resource potential. • Geologic Mapping & Data Integration: Proficient in advanced geologic mapping and data integration techniques, using industry-standard software (Petra, ArcGIS, Kingdom) to create accurate, detailed maps and models. This involves integrating seismic, well log, and core sample data to build a complete picture of subsurface potential and risk. • Project Management & Collaboration: Experienced in managing end-to-end prospect generation projects, overseeing timelines, budgets, and deliverables. I work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure project alignment, adapt to evolving priorities, and maintain high standards for project execution. • Vendor Selection & Relationship Management: Knowledgeable in selecting and managing vendors to support prospecting activities, including seismic data acquisition, data management, and technical services. I negotiate vendor contracts, coordinate their contributions, and ensure service quality aligns with project objectives. • Sales Support & Technical Communication: Collaborate with business development teams to prepare and present prospect packages to potential buyers. My goal is to clearly convey the technical data and economic potential of each project to attract interest, facilitate transactions, and drive profitable sales.Professional Highlights & Achievements: • Successful Prospect Generation: Generated multiple high-value prospects across Oklahoma and Kansas, transacting on over 50 MM dollars in acquisitions and sales of oil and gas properties as an independent and 480 MM dollars as a PE partner, significantly contributing to successful exploration efforts.

Mine GeologistJackalope Mining Feb 2022 - Jan 2024Winnemucca, Nevada, United StatesMine manager and geologist at new mine in Humboldt County, NV. Integral part of entire mine life cycle from identification and claim staking, design and build of mill plant, water use balancing/recycling as well as building, maintenance, and operation of equipment. Also responsible for sampling and assaying of ore as well as smelting of recovered electrum. In addition, I am responsible for identifying future prospects as well as directing the expansion and assessment of existing projects. The focus of these projects have been low-sulfidation epithermal gold and placer deposits common in northern Nevada. This includes research and integration of historic production and available data, Field mapping, modeling, sampling (including assay), RC/core drilling programs including chip and core description, QA/QC protocol design and execution.

Vice President ExplorationVelam Energy Group Jan 2019 - Jun 2021United StatesVertical production aggregator successfully closing on mid-continent vertical package. Raised capital and identified behind pipe pay and new drill opportunities across 30,000 acre portfolio. Navigated COVID crash by reducing expenses through renegotiation of electrical contracts, optimizing of pumper routes, and other cost saving measures to remain cash flow positive. Successful liquidation event in June 2021 providing project IRR of 18% and projected 1.7x return on capital in 3 years.

Lead Exploration/Development GeologistMt. Dora Energy Apr 2009 - Sep 2013Norman, OklahomaMt. Dora Energy is a private-equity funded independent oil and gas operator which was founded in 2008. I was hired on as an original member of the management team and was responsible for building the geologic department from the ground up. As a rapidly growing company we were able to capitalize on the downturn in 2008 and continue to drill oil and gas wells throughout Oklahoma. I was a part of the planning and development of several water-flood projects which have been and continue to be very successful providing a 17x multiple upon their divesture in 2012. Mt. Dora Energy uses Petra for geologic interpretation and I am very proficient in its use. I also am responsible for seismic interpretation and have extensively used Kingdom, PetraSeis, and Petrel software to do 3D geologic modeling and seismic interpretation and prospect identification. Mt. Dora Energy has acquired 45,000+ acres and drilled successful prospects in North Central Oklahoma and we were an early identifier of the potential of the Mississippi Limestone and Woodford Shale Oil east of the Nemaha. I am also responsible for putting together and presenting our yearly reserves assessment which is evaluated by a third party engineer, as well as giving technical presentations and talks to both local and national geologic societies and potential partners. I am also knowledgeable in the processes and development of dewatering and unconventional reservoirs. I continue to grow and learn with the company and love my job. I believe that geologists should look at the rocks, and I make it out to the location to look at well cuttings and go frequently to outcrops and caves to look at reservoir rocks. With this knowledge of the rocks, I am able to interpret and integrate logs, seismic, and core data from new wells while mining the wealth of information which exists for pre-existing wells throughout Oklahoma. All of this is accomplished while working with an integrated team to find and produce more oil and gas!

Petroleum GeologistWest Star Operating Company May 2007 - Apr 2009I started at West Star Operating with little working knowledge of the oil and gas business. I was directly mentored by two geologists with more than 60 years combined experience in the oil and gas industry in Oklahoma and Kansas. While at West Star Operating I worked with engineers, geologists, land men, and geophysicists to develop and successfully drill conventional oil and gas prospects in Oklahoma. I was responsible for all in-house 3D seismic interpretation where I identified faults, structures, stratigraphic pinchouts/pinnacles, determined migration pathways, and calculated volumetric reserve assessments (PetraSeis and Kingdom). I developed an extensive working knowledge of Petra including mapping, data management/integration, well log correlations, etc. I also used completion and production data from PI Dwight's/IHS and scout tickets. I left West Star Operating on good terms and made many friends and colleagues in my two years with the company.
