Christopher was originally discovered singing Happy Birthday as a waiter. A retired voice teacher offered him free voice lessons and a whole new pathway was opened to him, taking him to the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and around the world. Christopher has been fortunate to perform in China, throughout Europe and the United States as well. Currently Christopher resides in Southern California although he is working with an agent in New York and considering a move east.In 2015/'16 Christopher performed roles with Pacific Opera Project in three operas (The Merry Widow, The Impresario and The Barber of Seville), the role of Ferrando for the Narni Opera Festival in Italy for Mozart's Cosi Fan Tutte, as well as singing Turiddu in Cavalleria rusticana, Alfred in Die Fledermaus twice and Don Jose in Bizet's masterpiece, Carmen. This past summer Christopher also stepped in with 5 days notice to learn the role of Alfredo in Verdi's classic La Traviata. From 2017 through 2018 Christopher has performed Nemorino in Donizetti's Elixir of Love, Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni, the title role of Hoffmann in Offenbach's "The Tales of Hoffmann", Cassio in Verdi's "Otello", Turiddu in Mascagni's "Cavalleria rusticana" and Mario Cavaradossi in Puccini's tragedy, Tosca.Currently Christopher is preparing Rodolfo for Puccini's La Boheme this winter.https://anderson-west.com/
