As a Network Operations Manager, I oversee the day-to-day operations of the organization's network infrastructure, which includes budgeting, deploying, configuring, and maintaining network hardware, software, and services. With hands-on experience in switches, routers, VoIP, servers, Wi-Fi, fiber routes, and microwave antenna deployments, I ensure that our network is always up and running. Moreover, I manage a team of network technicians and engineers, ensuring that they are well-trained and equipped to handle network issues. To maintain consistency and efficiency, I implemented Standard Operating Procedures and Policies.

I designed and implemented new network deployments and provided tier 3 technical support to the Operations Support Center and Field Operations. I directed the testing and launch of new sites for all network products, including Any2 (peering), BGP, MPLS Ethernet Network, Dark Fiber, DWDM services, Blended IP (OOB) services, and Open Cloud Services such as AWS and Microsoft Azure. To ensure smooth network operations, I created maintenance windows and documented Method of Procedures (MOP).

As the escalation engineer for a nationwide infrastructure, I was responsible for handling complex issues that arose. I also performed installations and configurations of various equipment, including Routers, Switches, SONET, DWDM, and TDM. In addition, I deployed Direct Internet Access, Open-Cloud, and Peering Exchange circuits. I tested and launched Inter-Site Dark Fiber and Wavelength circuits using OTDR and EtherSam Y.1564 tests to ensure optimal performance.

As an Operations Supervisor, I was responsible for overseeing daily operations which included space planning, layout management, contractor supervision, and coordination of customer move- ins and outs. I also managed inventory and purchase orders and resolved trouble tickets and Remote Hands requests. Additionally, I supervised the installation of DC and AC power and managed critical equipment power migrations.
