Accretive is a private equity firm focused on building de novo world class companies from scratch. Seamless Health was set up by Accretive to create a technology-enabled services platform to maximize the economic and strategic contribution of physician networks within health systems. I helped define the strategy and vision, co-built our downstream modeling process and methodology, and drafted our compliance plan all while working with several large health systems ($4 Bn+ in revenues). During that process, we ran into headwinds with our potential anchor client, operating model, regulatory and commercial construct and realized that the business would not end up being sufficiently differentiated to provide the returns that investors desired. Due to these issues our leadership and investors decided to wind down in the summer of 2014.
