As a young man returning home after a small tour of duty with the U.S. Marines in March of 2005 I quickly understood there wasnt much need for my skill set in the civilian workforce. After accepting a job as a cable installation technician for Time Warner Communications Inc. I realized how much joy I received from working with my hands and problem solving. Thus beginning a lifelong passion for learning and developing my skills as a Tradesman. In the years to date, I have become proficient in many aspects of skilled trade. Most recently trained as a 4g metal inert gas (MIG) welder for Transco Railway Products Inc. A leader in railcar fabrication and repair where I also became a certified heavy equipment operator and emergency rapid response team member.Prior to working in railcar repair, I spent a few years learning industrial recycling and salvage operation. Developing knowledge and skills in the understanding of structural dismantling and building demolition. Allowing me to be able to read technical schematics in electrical wiring and blueprints of large multilevel buildings. Although my years of practicing as a skilled laborer, I understand there is still much I have yet to learn. However, with what knowledge and skills I have acquired I am confident I have much to offer as a dedicated and driven individual who is goal oriented and proud to be a member of a team.
