CurrentLead manager for two of our clients. One of them is our largest with over 5 million policies. I provide daily technical support which includes resolving sytem problems, assisting technical personel, and helping develop new products and enhancements. Recently provided training classes in accounting, SQL Plus, and system administration to over 70 new employees. Third party software (MIB) replaced existing service with new technology. Project leader of new Java software application that retrieved data from the mainframe via TCP/IP, converted it to XML and transferred it over the internet. Presented the new application at annual conference to existing clients and prospects. Major client was under time constraint to develop custom issue documents for new universal life products. Travelled to customer location and met with key employees to discuss the functional specifications of the new products. Numerous large complex programs (over 8000 lines each) were then coded to generate the extract files needed to print the required documentation. As a result, the new products were introduced on time.A client was offering a new VUL product that required banding for monthly administrative unit charges and flat fees. Wrote a design overview and detail that included project scope, time estimates, coding examples and multiple testing scenarios. I then managed the necessary resources, monitored progress and delivered the project on time and within budget.
