Brought Hadoop and Python into a SAS department build out an effective reporting package. • Analytic area was primary a SAS environment. Brought in R developer and introduced the first R-Studio application (ER Alerts) to the Informatics division. This resulted in building out more analytic and predictive modeling areas utilizing R. • A Highmark affiliate was on verge of losing Delaware State Medicaid contract. Requested by Informatics Senior Vice President to develop a Medicaid reporting package in a timely and accurate manner. Resulted in Highmark acquiring the business and standing up a new Medicaid business unit.• While in a manager position, was requested by Senior Vice President to lead 25-30 staff members from multiple analytic departments to remediate issues that occurred on the migration of West Virginia and Delaware Medicaid business from Gateway to Highmark platforms. The project was successful, and a new Medicaid business unit was stood up.• Multiple opportunities arose to build out new reporting units. Stood up various independent reporting and analytics areas (Provider Profile analytics, Medicaid analytics, and Provider Pay for Value/Care Alignment) that to bring in new business.
