Responsible for supply management for operations across the US, Mexico, and Brazil. $400 MUSD Spend. Implemented cost reduction pipeline, supply base reduction, and supported the startup of a new plant and supply base in Mexico.

Purchasing and supplier development for the construction equipment plant in Asheville, NC. Spend of $250 MUSD. Led transition from tactical to strategic sourcing and implementation of a site cost management structure and culture.

$14 MUSD investment to add manufacturing and assembly of excvator product previously manufactured in South Korea to the USA.

Development assignment to gain familiarity with the Korean lean manufacturing operations. Focus on continuous improvement and production processes.

P&L responsible for European operations including $300MUSD revenues and 100 people. Scope included planning, design, supply chain, marketing, customization.

Managed developing relationship with a Chinese manufacturer. Researched European market entrance strategy. Identified possibilities to leverage existing Scandinavian distribution network. Member of Channel Mgmt Council defining process and direction for construction equipment channels of distribution.

Part of Deere-Hitachi joint venture project to develop entrance strategy for Brazilian market. Responsible for marketing, distribution, sales and IT. Hired and managed outside consultant for $1MUSD market study.

Product Support leadership for Western Canada and Northwest US. 9 reports and approximately $100MUSD combined parts and service sales. Indirect management of regional office of 13 people.

Managed product support relationships with key national accounts (primarily rental) accounting for $100MUSD sales. Coordinated support with local dealers.

Managed product support and then commercial relationships with dealer network in Mexico and Central America. Included technical and sales training, and spanned the period of the devaluation of the peso and collapse of the market in Mexico.
