Help low income veterans with discharge upgrades in order to get the benefits they deserve. Also worked with low income veterans with some of their family law matters, including helping fill out dissolution paperwork and request to order paperwork (like to change venue to another court and modify child support). Finally, I aid clients with other matters, including administrative and civil matters.

Alternate Public Defender.Working on a variety of misdemeanor and felony cases including appearing on the record, writing motions (995, Statement in Mitigation, etc.).

Primary Public Defender, Adult Criminal Division.Working on a variety of misdemeanor and felony cases including appearing on the record, writing motions (Pitchess, PC 1195, etc.).

Worked with local attorneys to help low-income veterans to deal with their legal issues on their own by giving them concise legal advice and consultation in a variety of legal areas, including social security benefits, child support, divorce, and general civil matters.

My duties included helping students learn and improve their research skills on Westlaw Next. Further, I assisted professors with Westlaw Next TWEN. To be able to help both professors and students with their questions, I went through an intensive curriculum that taught me the complexities of legal research in general and on Westlaw Next specifically. Through this position, I was able to work with others, improve my research skills, and become a better public speaker.

Worked with a variety of clients in civil litigation cases including those involving accident victims.

Worked in the Veterans Department dealing primarily with landlord-tenant issues as well as government benefits issues. With regards to the landlord-tenant issues, I helped veterans with their unlawful detainer cases. I filled out government benefits for veterans, which enabled me to work closely with clients on these matters. All this has given me a lot of experience in working with clients, research, and writing.I, further, worked in the Community Organizations Legal Assistance department working with 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in Orange County with some of their business needs, including filing articles of incorporation

I sell high-end jewelry and merchandise as well as manage 2 other employees when the owner is away.
