- Work with engineers and environmental project managers to supply data needed for pipeline permits and reports.- Create map books in Arc Desktop and ArcPro containing multiple data frames for large scale pipeline projects.- Provided Management of Change (MOC) mapping for engineering department changes to the project and project data.- Led the KXL Stormwater Pollution Protection Plan (SWPPP) for GIS needs including complex impact analyses and large-scale mapping figures consisting of thousands of pages of maps for environmental permitting to be submitted to FERQ and EPA. Trained others to become proficient in those needs, all while adhering to the quality control standards created by EXP. Produced methodology and process documentation for the more complex analyses of SWPPP for others to learn the process.- Created flowlines for SWPPP mapping through using digital elevation models in Global Mapper to be used to show stormwater runoff.- Transitioned from Arc Desktop to ArcPro in March of 2020 and trained/supported others in ArcPro by creating documentation and performing tutorials on different processes in both Arc Desktop and ArcPro; in addition to being available for questions at any time.- Create data features by georeferencing maps and digitizing them for our own records.- Review and edit property sketches in AutoCAD- Create and edit spatial data for oil and gas pipeline construction, environmental management, and geotechnical engineering.- Create maps for government submissions and reports for EXP staff and clients.- Perform data procurement from various government and public repositories.- Data integration from external databases, spreadsheets and JSON data sources.- Create Excel tables containing requested analysis data obtained through GIS.- Convert shapefiles and geodatabases to KMZ’s for coordinators to use in the field.- Followed an extensive quality control process to greatly reduce errors on outgoing data, mapping, and tabular analyses.
