Ever since I got my first computer in the 90’s as a kid, I knew that I wanted to work with them. I was born into a world where home computers didn’t exist, and then I got to grow up alongside them. Because of this, I had no one to teach me how to maintain an online forum, how to build a windows media player skin, or how to upload a poorly photoshopped background image for others to see, but I learned those skills anyway. I had no one to teach me how to build a website when I made my first one for a local counseling center in high school. As a first-generation college graduate, I didn’t have anyone to teach me how college worked. But I learned, nonetheless. It’s that thirst for knowledge that drives me now. I see a problem that can be solved, and I strive to solve it. I see someone struggling, and I help them figure out their problems. I am a problem-solver. That’s why I achieved the Most Valuable Programmer award when completing my post-college software development training. When I’m not working, I enjoy a game of Commander (Magic, the Gathering), or gaming with friends. I’ve even worked to set up personal gaming servers. If you want to see some examples of my work, feel free to visit my Github Repo at https://github.com/cbprosser, or shoot me an email at ChrisBProsser@gmail.com!Skills:Typescript/JavascriptHTML/CSSReact/Redux/RouterSpring (Boot, Web, JPA, MVC)/Express.jsPostgreSQL/Sybase/MongoDBGit
