Chris Baas is a multi-disciplinary designer living in NYC. He graduated with a Bachelors in Architecture from California College of the Arts in 2013, with a strong focus in digital fabrication and parametric modeling.In 2012, Chris co-found Fathom & Form, a San Francisco based jewelry company that focused on accelerating the possibilities of jewelry design through advancements in technology. Fathom & Form gained success through reaching an international audience with the work being sold in Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York City, and Italy. The jewelry has been featured in Design Milk, Refinery 29, Daily Candy and in print in 7x7 Magazine as well as San Francisco Magazine. The work has also been highlighted in an exhibition at Kent State University; Beautiful Data; Technology and the Creative Process.In 2013 Chris worked for Perfection Electricks, a high end fabricator of Public artworks as well as architectural fabrication. He was responsible for helping deliver Maelstrom a 70 ft long sculpture by Alice Aycock on Park Avenue for the exhibition Paper Chase. In 2014 he worked on "Folly" a set of three sculptures installed in Madison Square Park by artist Rachel Feinstein.
