• Managed the project related activities for the Schuyler Heim Bridge project demo including cost and schedule tracking. Also, managed the coordination of the communications between the job prime contractor, MCM, and the owner, Caltrans.• Managed the complete of the Wilson High School project demo including cost and schedule and coordination with prime contractor.

• All capital projects include the development and running of the project. The development includes scope, cost estimate, schedule, and team alignment. All this information is required to submit an appropriation request. Upon approval, the responsibilities are placing of orders, monitoring and tracking vendor and contractor progress, quality of materials supplied, ensuring safety on the jobsite, and updating and tracking project cost and schedule.• For the VPSA Oxygen Plant project listed below, I had the additional responsibility of performing construction management for all groups on the project. This included coordination of work between plant forces and contractors. Steel, Q-BOP & Casthouse Clean Air Projects (1996-2000), Fairfield, AL - Lead Environmental Engineer/Startup Manager responsible for determining the emission sources and the sizing of the equipment to control these sources, the review of the design drawings to ensure that the design fit the specifications provided, coordinating the startup efforts between the construction/contractor personnel, vendor personnel and engineering personnel, including development of checkout and startup procedures and the completion of the operations and maintenance manuals.• U. S. Steel, Q-BOP Primary Gas Cleaning Controls (1996-2000), Fairfield, AL - Field Environmental Engineer responsible for inspecting the system on a routine basis and also making recommendations for system improvements. Additional responsibilities included coordination of system testing and coordination of the many system adjustments that were made so that testing could proceed in an orderly fashion.• U. S. Steel, Blast Furnace Repair (2000), Fairfield, AL - Scheduler responsible for completing the scheduling updates and determining work progress for each meeting during the repair work being performed to bring the furnace back online following a major furnace crash.• Heinz, Air Permit Modifications (1997), Pittsburgh, PA - Environmental Engineer responsible for the emissions modeling for the proposed modifications to the Heinz plant boiler house. This included the review of all sources located within Allegheny County for inclusion in the required regional modeling.

• U.S. Steel, Emissions Inventories, Edgar Thomson, Irvin and Clairton Works - Environmental Engineer responsible determining the annual emissions for the plants and preparing the reports to submit the agencies.• U.S. Steel, Fugitive Dust Study (1993), Gary, IN - Environmental Engineer responsible for determining the quantities and sources of fugitive dust throughout the plant, and develop a fugitive dust control plan to submit the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.• U.S. Steel, Waste Management Study (1993), Gary, IN - Environmental Engineer responsible determining the quantities of solid wastes disposed throughout the plant. • Weather Forecasting, I was responsible for writing forecasts for over 20 radio stations, construction, and newspaper clients. For the radio stations, I was responsible for delivering the forecast for use on the air.• Program Development, I was responsible for creating programs to analyze the weather data collected on the computer system. These programs included surface weather maps and upper air maps.
