In my project management experience, I have developed and executed multiple capital plans as part of the managing engineering group. These included both capital and maintenance projects. I was responsible for budgeting of Capital Projects and management of project expenditures through the Capital Appropriation Request process. I also was required to develop functional and realistic project scope, goals, timeline, and project execution for each of the company’s worldwide business groups, conduct weekly project team meetings and product development process reviews as required, and develop project budget based on project schedule and capital equipment requirements. My overall background includes work in the following areas: project management in a manufacturing environment and utility piping industry, quality management in the utilities industry, air pollution design and system startup, Title V Air Permitting, Clean Air Act required reporting, and SARA 312/313 reporting. I have over 15 years of experience in project management executing projects from inception to close-out. Projects have ranged in size from $50K to $27MM. For those projects, I was responsible for budget and schedule development and management, overseeing the construction, quality and safety management during the execution phase. As a quality engineer, I have managed and performed surveillance in the utilities industry included equipment for electric transmission, equipment for environmental projects, tanks, piping and structural steel. I have been responsible for coordinating all activities associated with these functions. My combined experience with quality functions is in excess of 10 year. I additionally have a background with air pollution control, permitting, and reporting. Experience in this area is approximately 10 years.
