Job Responsibilities: • Supports the set-up and trial production of new product transfer wherein analysis and decisions on the applications of sensitive processes are applied as well as its countermeasures in the manufacturing lines • Performs assembly and test process risk assessment, to enhance process competency and thereby establishing best practices • Performs assembly line investigations for yield related loss, conducting studies and evaluations to determine cause for failure and develop solutions • Supports qualification of new assembly line, machine, tooling, as well as for indirect material, components, and packaging • Performs ESD, process & system audits in Maxtor facilities MSP/MTS as well as in various supplier locations • Implement guidelines & provide training to different level of people to ensure protocol is followed • Involved in the development and introduction of new processes, material selection and tooling requirement for current and future requirements

Job Responsibilities: • Performs engineering evaluations and investigate to determine the cause of defects (machine, program, materials, process, or work related) and then issue a countermeasure for the problem • Provide engineering support and solutions to process control related issues, suggest strategies to enhance process competency • Actively involve in new projects and evaluation of sensitive processes to improve factory yield, meeting of quality targets & reduction of manufacturing cost • Conduct studies/evaluations and develop solutions, including process change, machine/tooling qualification, indirect material qualification, etc. • Provide information and work with external, internal organizations, as well as Toshiba-Ome Manufacturing Engineering centre to enhance factory control, specifications and new requirements • Conduct training and implement guidelines to different level people and carry out random audit when necessary to ensure that protocol & specifications are followed • Directly handles three (3) Engineers handling various special projects, meeting ESD quality objectives, ESD Control equipment maintenance & sustenance, Trainings and Instruction inside production
