Designing parts in CAD and responding to data from CFD, windtunnel and track to improve the aerodynamic characteristics of the race car. I have experience in front wings and diffusers specifically.Trackside Aerodynamicist 2019-2020: setting up aerodynamic experiments, calibrating pitot sensors, analysing results from aerodynamic tests on the race car and finding aerodynamic solutions to issues highlighted in data and driver feedback.

Taking applicants and parents on guided tours of the university's engineering facilities, aiming to answer all questions and queries about the university and the course, whilst trying to inspire more students to study engineering. I also present a summary of my year in industry to the applicants and parents as to inform them of the program and motivate others to partake in a similar scheme.

Resuming my role from the previous year using CFD to evaluate and develop brake cooling options for the race car. This role mainly consisted of the use of ANSA, STAR and Excel, along with presenting ideas and results in weekly meetings.

Aerodynamic development of parts using CAD (NX), CFD (STAR CCM) and the on-site wind-tunnel. Most of placement duration spent specialising in thermal analysis of brakes and radiators using CFD and production and presentation of statistics regarding aero department progress.

Client interface both personally and through telephone performing administrative tasks and assisting in consults and operations.
