As a teacher at Gaston County Schools, I am passionate about providing quality STEM education to students and fostering their curiosity and creativity. I am currently pursuing a graduate certificate in STEM Education at North Carolina State University, where I am learning how to design and implement innovative and engaging STEM curricula and assessments. I also have a graduate certificate in Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a bachelor's degree in Leadership from Southeastern University. With over 14 years of teaching experience, I have developed strong skills in analytics, data analysis, and reflectiveness, which enable me to monitor and improve student outcomes and instructional practices. I am also a collaborative and supportive team member, who values diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and beyond. My goal is to inspire and empower the next generation of STEM learners and leaders.
