As a correctional officer at Albion Correctional Facility for over 6 years, I have maintained the safety and order of inmates, staff, and visitors, and supported their rehabilitation and reintegration into society. I have a studied Criminal Justice/Police Science from Genesee Community College, which has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to perform my duties effectively and ethically.I am responsible for escorting inmates to various locations, such as court hearings, medical appointments, and other facilities, ensuring their security and compliance with the rules and regulations. I have developed strong skills in travel coordination, communication, and personnel security, as I have to plan, organize, and execute the transportation of inmates, communicate with different stakeholders, and handle any emergencies or incidents that may arise.
