As a dedicated law enforcement professional I am currently in my 26th year working as a Lieutenant Commander Detective Squad in the New York City Police Department. In my current assignment as the Commanding Officer of the Staten Island Robbery Squad my personnel and I currently serve New York City by investigating violent robberies and grand larcenies along with citywide patterns. Throughout my time in law enforcement I have honed my skills in criminal investigations, crisis intervention, conflict resolution as well as financial crime investigations where my previous role was Commanding Officer of Staten Island Grand Larceny where my team and I investigated numerous financial crime investigations both local and citywide. With my expertise in numerous areas in law enforcement and with 20 years in a supervisory role I have consistently problem solved numerous cases under pressure in collaboration with both local, state and federal personnel as well as interagency cooperation. I take pride in making sound decisions in high stress situations. In addition my leadership abilities have allowed me to mentor younger investigators and supervisors aimed at improving on efficiency and public engagement. I have the utmost integrity and take pride in my work ethic throughout my tenure with the NYPD.
