In Bob Mattrey's radiology lab at UCSD, I performed experiments utilizing a wide range of models, both in vivo and in vitro, across imaging modalities such as ultrasound, MRI, CT and PET. Focusing on contrast agent development, my work was generally collaborations with other labs in disciplines such as materials science and chemistry.

As the first scientist in Hagelin's Research and Development Department within the Flavor Division, my work primarily covered flavor enhancement and off note masking. Our projects covered beverages (carbonates, still, alcoholic), confection, baked goods, tobacco and savory products for numerous major companies in the food industry.
