I currently speak about being different and judging people based on what you see versus getting to know them for who they are. I also discuss what I have gone though in life as a way to motivate others not to give up and follow their dreams even if it's a difficult path forward. My speaking is geared towards a variety of ages from young children to adults. For younger children I shorten my presentation and also accompany it with a reading from my first comic book The Amazing Adventure of Superior Sam. For an older audience I may talk more openly about my life, surgeries, and what I went through personally and professionally regarding my injury. I also use a PowerPoint slideshow if requested to help the audience visualize what I've gone through. I also discuss my time as a police officer and have participated in a few classes where I discuss how I got into the writing/speaking industry.
