Currently working as a self-employed Automotive mechanic working throughout the UK and further afield. I previously worked as Deck Crew onboard the Maersk Resilient. my duties included daily lifting and rigging duties, bulk transfers, managing the main rigging loft onboard. I have also been relieving crew members from technical and drilling section. I previously worked for Volvo in Belgium as an End of Line Re-worker. My duties included electrical fault finding, audio fault finding, full strip-out and mechanical repairs to vehicles which have been damaged/have defects caused through the production process. These tasks have to be completed in a specific time scale and to the highest quality which is guaranteed by myself. I thoroughly enjoy working in the mechanical industry and hope to continue for many more years. I started my career for Allied vehicles. I began with basic workshop duties to build housekeeping skills. I progressed onto automotive engine and electrical repair where I grasped copious amounts of knowledge to undertake in-depth diesel engine repair and automotive electrical diagnostics. Due to my confidence in the workplace and quick learning I was advanced onto engine/gearbox overhaul. I enjoyed stripping major engine components down to diagnose faults, rectify any issues and rebuild components to full working order while taking pride in my work.
