In an ever shrinking industry, due to high regulation and control, Pharon Capital aimed to adapt and embrace the change. Pharon Capital was affiliated with Sanlam, Liberty and Capital Legacy (fiduciary services) and I was responsible for offering sound and clearly understood policies, investments and legacy plans to specific targeted customers where I saw gap in the market.In my time at Pharon Capital I had developed a growing base of clients and had made good progress in establishing Referral Agreements with my customers. I sought to further grow my base by setting up referral agreements with commercial property brokers, as I was looking to penetrate the business market and company benefits. I made good ground on the initiative and even ran an initiative where we would set up stalls at major events, giving away hampers for nothing more than names and number of the prospective clients. An idea I pitched to our manager at the time. This was my means of lead generation as was very successful, accumulating approximately 150 leads per event, with about 2 events per month.Unfortunately I was unable to fully explore and grow in this field as Pharon Capital was closed in December 2018 due to slow performance and investors not happy with performance dating back from before I had begun my career with them.

I work at Addfin for approximately 11 months. I served as an accounts clerk with tasks such as (but not exclusively) accurate capturing of tax documentation, balancing of books, and submissions of tax documentation to SARS.I was also responsible for the collection of documentation from clients, managing payroll through Simple Pay. Sending new and changing payslip back to the customers. I was responsible for ensuring the capturing was accurate and was responsible for finding faults in capturing if it was detected by my line manager.I eventually left this position when I moved house out of range of the company and could no longer afford the travel to and from work.
