Responsible for the design, implementation, and administration of Aspira's Oracle database environment. Duties include researching and deploying robust solutions providing continuous availability through combinations of HA offerings such as Oracle RAC, Dataguard and Goldengate replication, running on VMware vSphere and bare metal environments.

I am primarily working on architecture design enhancements(logical and physical) of the database component of Parlay's application suite. I am also responsible for designing and tuning highly available, fault tolerant systems using various OS/hardware/software solutions to provide optimal application/system environments for Parlay's current and future client base.

Responsible for the deployment and maintenance of internal and customer hosted databases utilising Workbrain's proprietary E.R.M. software. Duties include; installation and patch maintenance of database software, planning/creation of new instances, performance tuning, monitoring, and backup/recovery of development and hosted production Oracle, DB2, and SQLServer database systems. Responsibilities also include providing database administration assistance to customer DBAs, internal/external support and development teams, and resolving all internal and external escalated database issues.

Responsible for the creation and administration of Homestore's publicly facing enterprise CRM system consisting of multiple Oracle 8i instances, Vantive 8.2 application servers, and numerous proprietary business solutions deployed on various Sun servers running Solaris 2.6. Daily administration duties included; using Oracle’s tool suite, DBArtisan, SQL Navigator, and UNIX administration applications to provide configuration management, security, monitoring and tuning, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting for deployed Oracle instances, Vantive application servers, and Sun Solaris servers. Responsibilities also included working with the in-house development team to provide architecture and database development guidance, as well as the promotion of database/Vantive code from development through to production.

Responsible for leading a team of three QA Analysts tasked with ensuring the quality of SoftArc's proprietary Groupware software through user acceptance testing. Duties included setting team's daily tasks and obtaining progress reports from each member. Responsibilities also included collaborating with SoftArc's developers to debug and refine proprietary software, as well as communicating with external beta testers to track product anomalies.
