As the clinical and administrative manager of the Jail Diversion Program, I oversaw all program operations as well as clinical services provided by the team. Additionally, I oversaw all Mandatory Outpatient Treatment services provided by the CSB, as well as the care coordination staff deployed to Emergency and the Adult Detention Center. I provided clinical and administrative supervision for the 3 team supervisors who in turn supervised 15 clinical staff. My tasks included ensuring the program was adequately staffed, ensuring compliance with local and State DBHDS regulations, tracking and reporting data to senior leadership and grantors, tracking program expenses/accounts, overseeing and managing the vehicle fleet, overseeing a county-leased apartment, writing performance evaluations, auditing client records for compliance and quality control, providing weekly supervision to supervisors and the Mandatory Outpatient Treatment monitor, and compiling/reporting utilization statistics.

Provided clinical and administrative supervision for team members which included four case managers, one care coordinator, one nurse and one peer support specialist. Tasks included writing performance evaluations, auditing client records for compliance and quality control, providing weekly supervision, co-leading 3 team meetings a week, compiling and reporting utilization statistics, managing program funds, and other duties. As a licensed provider I regularly performed full bio-psycho-social-assessments on new and existing clients. I also oversaw and participated in assessing clients in the Adult Detention Center, attended court hearings, worked with prosecutors and public defenders, and provided the full range of intensive case management services.

I provided direct clinical services to adults with severe mental illness/co-occurring disorders. My responsibilities included providing individual therapy, group therapy and case management to these individuals. I facilitated evidence-based psychoeducational groups. I provided field education to MSW graduate students as a Field Instructor as well as provided supervision of clinicians seeking licensure.
