Manage projects and coordinate between the departments in the Technology Division.

I work close with a team of six others to build professional development sessions on EdTech tools/strategies and deliver them to educators in the district.I serve multiple schools in the district and work with teachers individually to assist them in utilizing tools and strategies effectively in their classes.

I was assigned to a middle school campus to work with teachers on developing strong and effective curriculum content for their classes, while also assisting them in other areas such as classroom management. I worked with a partner to analyze data and build strategic plans for the campus based on the data.My job duties also included writing district lesson plans for ELAR courses for grades 7-12.

During this time, I taught ELAR in 7th, 8th and 9th grades. I worked collaboratively with multiple teams to ensure our content was strong, well developed and aligned with standards, while our instruction was delivered effectively.I developed strong lines of communication with parents, administration and other staff. My first certification was ELAR 7-12, but in order to better assist all of my students and our Special Education staff, I sought and received certification in Special Education EC-12.

I covered crime and breaking news in the Permian Basin. This position required operating successfully under tight deadlines and the ability to respond quickly and accurately to rapidly unfolding events. It was important that I built and maintained strong networks of communication with people in the area.

I gathered content, wrote material and scheduled interviews to be included in a morning show on a local news station that ran daily from 5:30 AM - 7 AM. I worked collaboratively with the anchors and with the production team to ensure the show ran smoothly and successfully. This position required regular posting on social media to maintain a news presence online.
