Migrated legacy Rational Rose UML model into Rhapsody. This model covers various subsystems of manned ground vehicles (MGV). Wrote C++ code to animate state charts in model as well as GUI front end in C#. Rapidly developed model extract utilities in C# and Visual Basic. The extract utilities helped maintain and update software model within tight deadlines.

Wrote database app in C# that retrieved localized string resources and produced report on missing strings in other languages. Hosted managed control using managed C++ in legacy MFC app. Migrated legacy VC++ apps under both PC and PDA platforms for Visual Studio 2005. Enhanced legacy ATL COM-based XML components for both PC and PDA platforms. Introduced ATL.

Rapidly prototyped WinForms and WebForms apps under test in C# and VB.NET for use withTestPartner whenever new features were introduced. These prototypes enabled developers to resolve defects early in the process and, thereby, resulted in substantial cost savings.

• Designed multi-platform framework using UML to facilitate test development in writing telephony test engines. Framework addressed synchronization and multithreaded issues for NT/UNIX.
• Successfully redesigned OID tester as Visual C++ MFC application to allow device driver developers to test NDIS and proprietary OID requests sent to 802.11 wireless adapters. Wrote COM type library, enabling test.
• Designed and developed Host Media Processing license generator as ASP.NET solution using C#, ADO.NET and SQL Server. The license generator protected Intel’s investment and intellectual properties on a feature basis.
• Updated firmware downloader and CT bus time slot assigner for NT/UNIX platforms (Solaris and Linux) whenever new boards and features were introduced, producing significant revenue for Intel.

Produced x86 firmware in C/C++ for next generation of CAN bus-based automated teller machines using VxWorks RTOS and UML-driven object-oriented analysis and design. Enabled field engineers to easily retrieve and review post-mortem data for the first time.Automated test procedure in Perl, Tcl, and Visual Basic to parse metrics from firmware-generated binary.
