 Reporting to the CFO/Chief Accounting Officer. Led the core finance team that implemented the Oracle ERP (General ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and intercompany modules) and Hyperion (HFM, HP, HPCM, Essbase) applications globally. Implemented in record time in North America (10 months), Europe (3 months) and Asia (6 months). Delivered on time and within budget. Managed the core team of 11 team members, as well as consultants, vendors, other functional areas and support teams. Led the implementation of the new Accounting Rules Engine, Oracle Financials Accounting Hub (FAH).

Key member of the corporate finance team that prepared the company for its initial public offering in July 2007. Migrated the company’s financial reporting from IFRS to US GAAP and prepared the consolidated carve-out accounts under US GAAP. After the IPO, worked with senior management to build out key finance functions for the newly formed corporate head office. Implemented a new Cognos Controller system for the company’s consolidated reporting requirements and disclosures. Post IPO, created the new management information pack to cover new requirements, including departmental results and balance sheet data, customer data and comparison to external indicators.Led the implementation of a single global chart of accounts to standardize reporting across all legal entities.Responsible for the review of the US GAAP accounting treatment of significant business transactions, including acquisitions, as well as the impact of new US GAAP pronouncements.
