Staff member of Fantasy-Faction.com, a website devoted to aspiring and established writers of fantasy and science fiction to provide tips, insight and support for writers regardless of experience or level of publication. In the year since its inception, Fantasy-Faction has grown exponentially and is anticipating the release of their first anthology of both well-known and new writers in May of 2012.As a staff member, I have been responsible for composing reviews of both fantasy and science fiction work, including entire series of reviews based around a theme. I have also conducted interviews with several independent authors for the website. I am still a contributing member with a set schedule of reviews for the upcoming year.

As a substitute for the Marlboro Public School District, I have been responsible for providing support staff and instructional services for Grades 6 through 8 for the two intermediate-level schools the district services regardless of content. In this occupation, I have worked alongside other professionals in the education field to provide continuing instruction to students. While I am in the classroom, students are made aware that they are to follow the rules established by the teacher and discipline is maintained. Among my duties is to take attendance for the classes, which I submit to the school as well as include in my reports to the teacher, as well as a general report breaking down the performance of the classes and individual students.

My most recent posting at Wegmans Food Markets, I was offered the position of Pharmacy Technician at the Wegmans store in Manalapan, New Jersey in October of 2009. Through the pharmacy in the store, I received instruction on procedures in the pharmacy, as well as the training required to perform my duties throughout the department.As a technician, my responsibilities include maintaining product in my assigned area to ensure that the inventory is accurate and all medications are not expired or tampered with. I am also responsible for checking out customers and ensuring that the proper person or parties are collecting their medication, as well as upholding HIPPA laws and the federal regulations regarding the sales of certain medications.As a regular member of the night crew, another of my duties includes the cleaning of the department and ensuring proper disposal of all materials, in addition to ensuring that all products are secure and money is accounted for.

As a substitute teacher for Ocean Township Public School District, I have been responsible for providing faculty services for all subjects for the grade levels serviced in the district's intermediate and high schools. These classes have ranged from general education classrooms to ones that have inclusion students or entire classes of children with various learning issues.In addition to the substitute services I have provided, I have also been instructed with furthering the education of children who are for one reason or another incapable of receiving instruction in a traditional classroom setting at that time. Through this program, I have provided special one-on-one instruction in World History and US History to students of all grade levels either in their own homes or in a designated place as dictated by the district. This program required for me to coordinate with teachers in order to have material and content to instruct the student, as well as coordination with the parents and students themselves in order to determine when it would be best to come and provide lessons. These lessons were performed under supervision, I was also required to create reports and grade material based on the student's performance. This allowed me the opportunity to achieve and set goals in my own manner, and to refine personal presentation techniques.

Substitute for various high school grade levels (ninth through twelfth grades). Supplied in-class support and assist teachers with controlling classrooms and ensuring all students were on-task.

Served as chief instructor for new trainees on the Front End department.Designed activities, time management skills and instructional techniques for group and individual instruction.Trained classes ranging in size from three to fifteen students, with students ranging from fifteen years old to senior citizens.Served as cashier and performed various other duties throughout Wegman's Market.Recipient of the Wegman's Scholarship based upon superior customer service skills.
