Responsible for testing workstations, printers, e-signature pads, barcode scanners, and other end-user devices that integrate with the Epic EHR in the weeks/months prior to going live. This is done by utilizing Epic software modules and executing Epic test scripts to ensure printing queues are created, printers are mapped to the correct workstations, and peripheral devices are working as expected.Viewing, modifying, and completing test results and issue descriptions in the Epic TDR Tool, providing detailed information on each failed workstation or device, using Epic modules and Epic test-script outputs, to ensure proper and efficient turnaround times for failure, troubleshooting, and resolution.Understand expected results and document failures effectively based on test script requirements.Additional Details:What is TDR? Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) allows the technical and application teams to verify that all end-user devices are deployed and configured correctly for use with Epic. A successful TDR is essential to a successful Epic Go-Live.Who does TDR, and what is tested? The technical team will complete testing to ensure all hardware and software functions operate as expected during Go-live and will test hardware/software configurations for devices that include:Epic Hyperdrive Workstation and login scenario setupsPrintersPeripherals (e.g., barcode scanners, document scanners, cameras, dictation devices)Business Continuity Access (BCA) applicationTesting is completed in the production environment and involves physically testing all devices and technical configurations users, such as nurses, doctors, and surgeons, will operate after Going Live.
