Responsible for collecting and compiling data and program information. Required to prepare execute and track program specific information in regards to Veteran Benefits information and health care. Organizes and retrieves computerized data and creates reports of data. Answers a variety of questions and concerns related to Department of Veterans affairs health care and benefits. Establishes outreach services with Military installations, Reserve, and National Guard facilities within a designated geographical area. Provides transitional assistance program briefings to Military, Reserve, and National Guard personnel transitioning from active duty. Develops and distributes outreach materials to include brochures, fact sheets, web content, and other targeted information. Provides training and information to VA staff, other federal agencies and community agencies regarding both Vet Center services and the GWoT. Organizes and participates in a myriad of community activities and events. Engages in a variety of community outreach activities that will promote knowledge of and use of Vet Center services. Works with local and regional media including television, radio, and print media to alert newly returning service members and their families to vet center services and activities.

As the Senior Enlisted Instructor, was responsible for ensuring that all training plans were current within the Army’s standard. Maintained six instructor packets and ensured that all instructors were current. While assigned to this position I trained over 1500 flight students and accounted for approximately $6,000,000 worth of equipment. During my time in this position I instructed 40 classes and ran 65 Combat Pistol Ranges with zero safety incidents.
